General Dining

Can I make a reservation at Rosario’s?

 Although Rosario’s does not take traditional reservations, you can join our waitlist ahead of time on our Yelp page. You may also call the restaurant at 210-223-1806 and request to be added to our call-ahead list. This helps our team prepare for your arrival. When you get here, simply check in with the host to be seated as soon as possible.

We are celebrating a special occasion. Can I bring in a birthday cake or cupcakes?

Yes, although we make in house desserts like our famous bread pudding, we do allow you to bring in outside cakes. We do ask that you bring your own paper plates and plasticware if you are bringing in a cake.

Can you hold my cake in your refrigerator?

No. Health department regulations do not allow any outside food or beverages to be stored in our coolers.

Does Rosario’s accept large parties for walk-in dining?
Yes, we welcome larger groups, but seating is based on availability. We recommend joining the waitlist in advance and calling ahead so our team can best accommodate your party.
Do you have a kids’ menu?
Yes, Rosario’s offers a children’s menu with kid-friendly favorites.
Do you offer takeout or online ordering?
Yes, you can order online for takeout or pickup directly through our website.
Does Rosario’s serve brunch?
No, Rosario’s currently serves lunch and dinner only.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit cards, and Rosario’s gift cards.
How long has Rosario’s been in business?
Rosario’s has been a part of San Antonio since 1992. The original location was at 1014 S. Alamo, then moved to the corner of S. Alamo and St. Mary’s in 1999. In February 2023, Rosario’s moved into its new and permanent home at 722 S. St. Mary’s Street.
How many locations does Rosario’s have?
This is currently our only location.
Can we dine on the rooftop?

The rooftop is mainly a bar and lounge, small bites such as chips &  salsa and guacamole can be ordered on the Rooftop but the complete dinner menu is available only downstairs in the main restaurant. 

What is the age requirement for the Rooftop lounge?

The Rooftop Lounge is 25 years and up.

Dietary Needs

Does Rosario’s offer vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes, Rosario’s has several vegetarian dishes, and some items can be modified for vegan diets. Please ask your server for guidance.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes, certain menu items are naturally gluten-free or can be modified to accommodate gluten-free dining. Please inform your server of your dietary needs.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Our team makes every effort to accommodate allergies. Please notify your server about any food allergies when placing your order.
Is your salsa spicy?

Our famous fire-roasted salsa has a bold, smokey, mild kick to it. It has been a fan favorite since our beginnings.

Parking & Location

Where do I park when dining at Rosario’s?
The entrance to our parking lot is located off S. Presa Street. Look for the large mural on the back side of the building — this is our only lot. Additional street parking and multiple paid lots are also available nearby in the Southtown and Hemisfair areas.
Do you offer valet or parking validation?
No, Rosario’s does not provide valet or validate parking.
How far is Rosario’s from the San Antonio River Walk?
We are located in the Southtown King William District, about a 15-minute walk from the River Walk, depending on where you start.
How far are you from Hemisfair Plaza, the Tower of the Americas, and Civic Park?
Rosario’s is about a 5-minute walk from these popular San Antonio attractions.

Private Events

Does Rosario’s offer private dining rooms?
Yes, Rosario’s has several unique private dining spaces — La Cha, La Caliza, and Casa Isabel — that can be reserved for a variety of events.
What types of events can Rosario’s host?
We host everything from corporate luncheons and mixers to birthdays, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and weddings.
How do I check availability for a private event?
Private event spaces are available in set time blocks. Please contact the Rosario’s team for availability and booking.
Can the Rooftop Bar be rented for private events?
Yes, the Rooftop Lounge is available for private parties, cocktail receptions, and corporate mixers.

Does Rosario’s have a loyalty or rewards program?
Yes. Rosario’s Rewards allows guests to earn 1 point for every $1 spent. Every 50 points unlocks a free order of fire-roasted salsa and chips.
How do I sign up for Rosario’s Rewards?

You can sign up directly through Toast here.

Where can I buy a Rosario’s gift card?

Gift cards are available for purchase in the restaurant or online as an eGift card via Toast.

Can I check my Rosario’s gift card balance online?

Yes, you can check your balance using the link on our Gift Cards page.

Do gift cards expire?

Our current Rosario’s gift cards never expire and can be used in the main restaurant. Older versions of gift cards previously sold at HEB stores and from our previous San Pedro location are not valid.
